Student Health & Wellness!mystudentplan is a benefits plan for students and can provide coverage for prescription drugs, vision care, dental care, mental health counseling, and more. The plan is designed to supplement provincial health insurance and provide additional access to medical services.
Are you covered by a comparable plan? Do you wish to cover your dependents? Or have you opted out of the plan and wish to be re-enrolled? Eligible Students may submit their online forms.
Students must submit the applicable online form for each of the following services that they are choosing to waive:
Failure to submit any or all the opt-out forms within the applicable deadline will result in you remaining enrolled in said service and being charged the associated fee on your student account.
Students are required to provide proof of alternative, comparable coverage for the Health & Dental Plan and the International Emergency Health Insurance.
Students starting in September must submit online forms by October 5th, 2023. Students starting in January must submit the online forms by February 5th, 2024. All other students starting outside September or January have 30 days from their program start date to submit online forms.
Before submitting your online forms, please review the eligibility criteria and read the Terms and Conditions.
Withdraw from the student plan if you are covered by a comparable Health and Dental Plan from parents, spouse, work, government, or band and do not wish to Coordinate Benefits by completing the online form by the applicable deadline.
Extend your student plan to your dependents and have them covered with the same Health and Dental benefits by completing the online form by the applicable term deadline. Additional charges must be paid using a credit card.
Re-enroll in the student Plan if you previously opted out and have lost your comparable insurance coverage OR Opt-In to the Student plan if you qualify based on your status as a student by completing the online form by the applicable deadline.
