Winter January Start Students - January 20th
Spring May Start Students - May 20th
Only new students or returning students whose anniversary of enrollment is the current term may apply to opt out of myvirtualdoctor.
- If you started your program in a different term than the current one, your request to opt out of the myvirtualdoctor will not be approved at this time. Your next opportunity to opt out of myvirtualdoctor would be the next anniversary of the start date of your program.
- Approval of the Students opt-out of myvirtualplan will result in the plan fee being refunded according to the school's policy. The Opt-Out of myvirtualdoctor result is an annual process. This means students will be re-enrolled next year on your enrolment anniversary and if you wish to opt-out again you will need to complete this Form prior to the applicable deadline.
- NO EXCEPTIONS will be made if the deadline is missed. It is the student's responsibility to pay the plan's mandatory fees, should they miss the applicable opt-out of myvirtualdoctor deadline.
- Once you complete the opt-out form, you will receive an automated email confirmation. Please keep this email for your records as it is your only proof of submitting an opt-out request.

The winter opt-out deadline is closed
The winter deadline to apply was January 20th, 2023. The online Opt-Out Form is not available at this time. The online form was open from December 1st, 2022 until January 20th, 2023.
NO EXCEPTIONS will be made if the deadline is missed. It is the student's responsibility to pay the plan's mandatory fees, should they miss the applicable opt-out deadline.
If you were eligible for the plan for the first time in winter term and missed the deadline, your next opportunity to apply should be Fall 2023 term.
The online form will be open for only new students starting the spring-summer term on April 1st, 2023 and the deadline to apply is May 20th.
