Drug Benefits

The student health plan pays for a portion of prescription drugs, removing some of the financial burden so you can make your health a priority.

Coverage is a maximum of $3,000 per benefit year

Advise your doctor and pharmacist that you are on the British Columbia Provincial Formulary.

Preventative Vaccines to a maximum of $150 per benefits year $500 in a lifetime for Smoking Cessation products legally requiering a prescription Prior-Authorization Drug Claims Some prescription drugs require prior authorization before reimbursement is considered. You must submit a form to get prior authorization. Once prior authorization has been confirmed by the prescription search tool, you must work with your doctor to complete and submit a Drug Prior Authorization Form.
