Opt-Out Applications

Submit your legal care program opt-out application before the deadline.

Winter Application Period

December 1^st, 2025 to January 26^th, 2026

Make sure to submit your form by January 26^th, 2026 as the online form won't be accessible after that date.

Opt-Out Eligibility

All eligible Students enrolled in legal care program may submit an online application to opt out of the legal care program based on their personal choice at the start of their academic year before the applicable deadline.

How to Opt Out

To Opt Out, you must be enrolled in the legal care program, meet the Opt-Out eligibility criteria, and complete the online form before the applicable term deadline.

Steps to Opt-Out

Things to consider:

The legal care program opt-out is annual. You will be re-enrolled next year on your enrollment anniversary. If you wish to opt-out again, you will need to complete this form before the applicable deadline.
Students who opt-out of the legal care program will lose access to legal benefits.
Approval of the legal care program opt-out will result in the mylegalplan fee being refunded according to the school's policy.
Once you opt-out of the legal care program, you cannot re-enroll until your enrollment anniversary.
NO EXCEPTIONS will be made if the deadline is missed. Students are responsible for paying the plan's mandatory fees if they miss the opt-out deadline.
Upon completing the legal care program opt-out form, you will receive an automated email confirmation. Please keep this email for your records as it is your only proof of submitting an opt-out request.

Spring-Summer 2026: Online applications will open on April 1^st, and the deadline is May 26^th, 2026. This deadline applies only to new spring-summer-eligible students or returning students who started their studies in the spring-summer term. Applications from other students will be rejected.
