Student Health & Wellness!mystudentplan is a benefits plan for students and can provide coverage for prescription drugs, vision care, dental care, mental health counseling, and more. The plan is designed to supplement provincial health insurance and provide additional access to medical services.

The Sobeys family of pharmacies operating under the banners of Sobeys Pharmacy, Pharmacy at Safeway, FreshCo Pharmacy, Thrifty Foods Pharmacy, IGA Pharmacy, Foodland Pharmacy and Lawtons Drugs, offers several services including online prescription refills and appointment booking, medication reviews, custom adherence packaging, immunization services and more. What pharmacy benefits does Sobeys National Pharmacy Group offer?

Within Ontario, the dispensing fee is $8.83 and drug mark-up is capped at 8% (6% on drug costs over $1,000).

In British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island, the discount is $2.00 per prescription applied against the dispensing fee.

In Alberta, Nova Scotia, and Saskatchewan, the discount is applied per prescription as $1.00 against member out-of-pocket co-pay and $1.00 credited annually to the plan.

For Sobeys Pharmacy by Mail (mail order service), the dispensing fee is $4.99, and mark-up is capped at 8%.

How do I access the pharmacy benefits?

Present your drug card when having your prescription filled and you’ll automatically save on the dispensing fee and mark up costs.

Is my family eligible to access the pharmacy benefits?

Yes. All covered dependents are eligible to receive the pharmacy benefits.

How do I get a Lawtons Discount Card?

To get a Lawtons Discount Card that entitles you to discounts on products, go to: https://services.lawtons.ca/ppn and use Username: PeopleCorp and Password: PCPPN19!

After you register, your card will be mailed to you. To get your discount while shopping at Lawtons locations, you’ll need to present your Lawtons Discount Card and Photo ID at the time of purchase.

Can I get my prescriptions transferred to a Sobeys pharmacy from another pharmacy?

Transferring your prescriptions is easy. Visit or call the preferred pharmacy network location and request a transfer of your file. The pharmacy will collect the necessary information from you and take care of the rest.

How does Sobeys Pharmacy by Mail work?

Sobeys Pharmacy by Mail is a direct-to-your-door pharmacy where you order your prescription medications by phone, online, by e-mail or post mail. To learn more about ordering your prescriptions online, visit https://www.sobeyspharmacybymail.ca/questions.aspx

Metro and Food Basics Pharmacy logo

Your school is enrolled in HealthWorks, which is Metro Ontario Pharmacies Limited’s Preferred Provider Network (PPN). Students that are part of a Preferred Provider Network are eligible for a preferred dispensing fee of $5.99.

To save on your prescriptions, simply present your Metro Ontario Pharmacies Limited drug card along with your drug benefit card at a Metro or Food Basics pharmacy. 1. What is HealthWorks?

Your school is enrolled in HealthWorks, which is a Preferred Provider Network that allows you to save on your prescriptions at any Metro or Food Basics pharmacy in Ontario.

2. How do I receive preferred pricing at a Metro and Food Basics pharmacy?

Simply present your Metro Ontario Pharmacies Limited drug card along with your Plan Card at the pharmacy. You will automatically receive preferred pricing on your prescriptions. No sign up is required.

3. Is my family eligible for preferred pricing?

Anyone with a Metro Ontario Pharmacies Limited drug card is eligible for preferred pricing on prescriptions.

4. At what locations am I eligible for preferred pricing?

You are eligible for preferred pricing at any Metro or Food Basics pharmacy in Ontario. Simply go to metro.ca/pharmacy or foodbasics.ca/pharmacy to find your closest pharmacy.

5. What if I currently get my prescriptions filled at another pharmacy? How can I get my prescriptions filled at a Metro or Food Basics pharmacy?

Simply contact a Metro or Food Basics pharmacy and give them the phone number of the other pharmacy and the details of the prescriptions you would like transferred. The pharmacy will handle the rest.

How do I access the pharmacy and retail benefits provided by Alliance Pharmacy?

Students will automatically get the dispensing fee and markup discounts on prescription drugs when you provide your plan number (330828) and your Plan Card. Visit www.alliancepharmacy.ca to get started by creating your account.

We have a network of select Registered Massage Therapists who provide students with savings on services. To take advantage of the savings brought to you by your student organization, use "Find a Practitioner" to access a Select Partner in your area.

Registered Massage Therapists accessed through the network will offer the following rates:

We have a network of select Chiropractors who provide students with savings on services. To take advantage of the savings brought to you by your student organization, use "Find a Practitioner" to access a Select Partner in your area.

Chiropractors accessed through the network will offer the following rates:

We have a network of select naturopaths who provide students with savings on services. To take advantage of the savings brought to you by your student organization, use "Find a Practitioner" to access a Select Partner in your area.

Naturopaths accessed through the network will offer the following rates:

Naturopaths have partnered with mystudentplan to help you get the most out of your student Health Plan. If you choose to visit a naturopath, not on our list, you will still be covered by your student Plan, but may have a higher out-of-pocket cost.

Dental Network

We have a network of select Dentists who provide students with savings on services. To take advantage of the savings brought to you by your student organization, use "Find a Practitioner" to access a Select Partner in your area.

Benefit year maximum of $750 and specific limits may also apply.

Camosun Dental Clinic: Includes one annual exam, x-rays, polishing, scaling and fluoride once per benefit year. You are encouraged, but not required, to use the Camosun Dental Clinic.

Dentists accessed through the network will offer the following savings:
