Flex your Plan Applications

Submit your flex health and dental plan application before the deadline.

Fall Application Period

August 1^st, 2024 to September 30^th, 2024

Make sure to submit your form by September 30^th as the online form won't be accessible after that date.

Fall Academic Enrollment

Assessed the Health Insurance Fee and Dental Insurance Fee on their student account; and
Must submit their flex plan application before the fall deadline.

Eligible students who miss the fall deadline would be able to flex their plan the following fall term if they are fall-enrolled students. Students will not be able to flex their plan in the winter term.

Winter Academic Enrollment

New eligible winter students or returning students who did not attend fall term; and
Assessed the Health Insurance Fee and Dental Insurance Fee on their student account; and
Must submit their flex application before the winter deadline.

New eligible winter students who miss the winter deadline would be able to flex their plan the following fall term if they are fall-enrolled students.

Things to consider

Students can Flex their benefit plan only once during their program. Once their Flex plan is approved, it will remain in effect for a minimum of 2 years.
Student only can apply to go back to the Balanced Plan after the 2-year period. If they do not submit a new Flex Plan application at that time, their flex plan choice will remain in effect for all future terms.
Students choosing to Flex their Benefits must be enrolled in BOTH the Health and the Dental plan.
Approval of the Student Benefits Plan Flex Plan application will result in your plan choice being reflected on your insurance account after 45 days from the start of the term.
NO EXCEPTIONS will be made if the deadline is missed.
