Legal Care Program Expert advice on civil legal matters, plus access to dynamic, customizable do-it-yourself legal documents, forms, contracts, and more.
All undergraduate domestic, indigenous, government-sponsored and international students who meet the following criteria are automatically enrolled in the Legal Care Program and do not need to apply for coverage.
Students who are members of the CUESA - Concordia University of Edmonton Students' Association and meet the following eligibility criteria are automatically assessed the Legal Care Program Fee on their tuition.
You are admitted to an eligible program as having full-time status at Concordia University of Edmonton; and
You are an international student studying for more than 12 months; and
You reside in Canada and study in person or online; and
You are under the age of 70.
Review your student account statement and search for the Legal Care Program Fee to confirm you are covered by the Legal Care Program - mystudentplan.

Eligible students will receive 12 months of coverage starting the first day of the month when classes begin.
Coverage September 1st to August 31st
Coverage January 1st to December 31st

If you are not sure if you meet the eligibility criteria, please visit the Online Services at the University and login using your student account. If you have been assessed with the CUESA Legal Care Program fee, then you are enrolled!
If you are unsure about whether you are eligible for the Legal Care Program, please contact your Benefit Plan Office at concordiaplan@mystudentplan.ca before the applicable deadline.
Students may apply to opt out of the plan.
You can withdraw from the legal Care Program based on your personal choice by completing the opt-out application form before the deadline.
