mylegalplan Opt-Out
Before completing the online form, please read and understand the following information.
Spring-Summer deadline to submit applications
May 20th 2024
All eligible Students enrolled in mylegalplan may submit an online application to opt out of mylegalplan based on their personal choice at the start of their academic year before the applicable deadline.
The student is given one (1) opportunity to opt-out of mylegalplan each year at the start of their academic year. All opt-out forms must be completed online and must be received by the applicable deadline.
- The mylegalplan opt-out is an annual opt-out. You will be re-enrolled next year on your enrolment anniversary and if you wish to opt-out again you will need to complete this Form prior to the applicable deadline.
- The mylegalplan Opt-Out process is unconditional. students are not required to have proof of coverage elsewhere.
- Students who opt-out of the Virtual Legal Hub - mylegalplan will no longer be able to use the legal benefits.
- Approval of the mylegalplan opt-out will result in the mylegalplan fee being refunded according to the school's policy.
- Once you opt-out of mylegalplan, you will not be able to re-enroll in the program until your enrolment anniversary.
- NO EXCEPTIONS will be made if the deadline is missed. It is the student's responsibility to pay the plan's mandatory fees, should they miss the applicable opt-out deadline.
- Once you complete the mylegalplan Opt-Out form, you will receive an automated email confirmation. Please keep this email for your records as it is your only proof of submitting an opt-out request.
Steps to Submitting mylegalplan Opt-Out Applications:
1 Student Information
Complete this section below providing true and correct information. Click NEXT.
2 Confirm the Opt-Out
Check the box to confirm that you wish to Opt-Out of the plan. Click NEXT.
3 Read and Agree to the Terms and Conditions
Click on the checkbox to indicate that you agree to the
Terms and Conditions agreement.
Click SUBMIT to finish your application.
4 Confirmation email
Check your email and verify if you have received the confirmation email.
If you do not receive this email, you must resubmit the form.
5 Application status
You will receive an email with the status of your application.

mylegalplan Opt-Out Form
The winter mylegalplan opt-out deadline is closed.
The winter deadline to apply was January 20th, 2024. The online Opt-Out Form is not available at this time. The online form was open from December 1st, 2023, until January 20th, 2024.
NO EXCEPTIONS will be made if the deadline is missed. It is the student's responsibility to pay the plan's mandatory fees, should they miss the applicable opt-out deadline.
If you were eligible for the plan for the first time in the winter term and missed the deadline, your next opportunity to apply would be the winter 2025 term.
The online form will be open for new and returning students starting in the spring-summer term on April 1st, 2024, and the deadline to apply is May 20th, 2024.
