Students can opt-out of myvirtualdoctor based on their personal choice. Once you opt-out you will not be able to re-enroll in the program until your enrolment anniversary.
Students who lose access to their family doctor or primary care provider during the benefit year can re-enroll by providing proof of their loss of provider. Please contact the Benefits Plan Office for more information.
The myvirtualdoctor opt-out is an annual opt-out. You will be re-enrolled next year on your enrolment anniversary and if you wish to opt-out again you will need to complete this Form prior to the applicable deadline.
Students are given one opportunity at the start of their academic year to opt-out of myVirtual Doctor. Opt-out requests must be submitted online and by the applicable deadlines.
NO EXCEPTIONS will be made if the deadline is missed. It is the student's responsibility to pay the plan fees, should they miss the applicable opt-out deadline.
Approval of the Student's opt-out will result in the myvirtualdoctor fee being credited/or refunded according to the school's policy.
