Spring students! If you missed the deadline, your next chance to apply will be in the fall term. The application period was from April 4st to May 23th, 2025.
Fall 2025: The online applications will open on August 1st, 2025, and the application deadline is September 19th, 2025. This deadline is for all eligible students.
Before submitting your online applications, please review the eligibility criteria and read the Terms and Conditions.
Withdraw from the Student Benefits Plan if you are covered by a comparable insurance from parents, spouse, work, government, or band and do not wish to Coordinate Benefits.
Extend your Student Benefits Plan to include your dependents, providing them with the same Health and Dental benefits. Additional charges must be paid using a VISA or Mastercard credit card or a VISA Debit card.
Re-Enroll in the Student Benefits Plan if you previously opted out, have lost your comparable insurance coverage and are still eligible for the plan.
Fall Deadline Submit your online Family Add-On, Opt-Out, or Opt-In applications by September 19th, 2025
Benefit Cards Get your Benefits Card on your Benefits App and use it where direct billing is available.

Plan Claims Learn more about submitting online or manual claims to Canada Life to get your refund.
