What pharmacy benefits does Sobeys National Pharmacy Group offer?

Within Ontario, the dispensing fee is $8.83 and drug mark-up is capped at 8% (6% on drug costs over $1,000).

In British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island, the discount is $2.00 per prescription applied against the dispensing fee.

In Alberta, Nova Scotia, and Saskatchewan, the discount is applied per prescription as $1.00 against member out-of-pocket co-pay and $1.00 credited annually to the plan.

For Sobeys Pharmacy by Mail (mail order service), the dispensing fee is $4.99, and mark-up is capped at 8%.

How do I access the pharmacy benefits?

Present your drug card when having your prescription filled and you’ll automatically save on the dispensing fee and mark up costs.

Is my family eligible to access the pharmacy benefits?

Yes. All covered dependents are eligible to receive the pharmacy benefits.

How do I get a Lawtons Discount Card?

To get a Lawtons Discount Card that entitles you to discounts on products, go to: https://services.lawtons.ca/ppn and use Username: PeopleCorp and Password: PCPPN19!

After you register, your card will be mailed to you. To get your discount while shopping at Lawtons locations, you’ll need to present your Lawtons Discount Card and Photo ID at the time of purchase.

Can I get my prescriptions transferred to a Sobeys pharmacy from another pharmacy?

Transferring your prescriptions is easy. Visit or call the preferred pharmacy network location and request a transfer of your file. The pharmacy will collect the necessary information from you and take care of the rest.

How does Sobeys Pharmacy by Mail work?

How do I access the pharmacy and retail benefits provided by Alliance Pharmacy?

Students will automatically get the dispensing fee and markup discounts on prescription drugs when you provide your plan number (157921) and your Plan Card. Visit www.alliancepharmacy.ca to get started by creating your account.

To create an account:

  1. Go to www.alliancepharmacy.ca
  2. Click Get Started
  3. Complete the Required fields. In the Employer/School/Group Code, enter your benefits plan group ID number
  4. Click Create My Account
