Re-Enroll applications are now closed

All eligible students are automatically enrolled in the Student Health and Dental Plan. If you opted out in the past, you will be re-enrolled, as the opt-out process must be completed each fall semester.

Re-Enroll Applications

Submit your health and dental re-enroll application before the deadline.

Application Deadline

Within 30 days from the loss of coverage date

Make sure to submit your form within 30 days of losing your previous coverage or the applications received after the deadline will be denied. The online form is only available for students who have opted out and lost comparable coverage.

Re-Enroll Eligibility

If you opted out of the Student Health and Dental Plan for the current coverage period, you may re-enroll only if you've lost comparable coverage.

To qualify, you must submit a re-enroll application and proof of lost coverage within 30 days of the coverage end date.

How to Re-Enroll

To Re-Enroll, you must have opted out of the Student Benefits Plan, be eligible for the Student Benefits Plan, email proof of lost coverage to healthplan@tmaps.ca and complete the online form before the deadline.

Things to consider:
  • Eligible students are automatically enrolled in the Student Health and Dental Plan; no application is necessary. Please check your student account for the Health and Dental fees to confirm your enrollment.
  • Opt-outs are valid until August 31st. After that period, you will be re-enrolled unless you submit a new opt-out request.
  • All students are required to enroll in both the health and dental plans; individual enrollment in either plan separately is not available.
  • Once your re-enroll application is approved, the Health and Dental Plan fee will be assessed. You will receive an email with instructions on how to pay the fee.
  • NO EXCEPTIONS will be made if the application deadline or payment is missed. It is the student's responsibility to check their emails for updates on the application status and deadlines.
