Call Center Management

Within the scope of our myCanadaPlan, support includes a 24/7 dedicated call center for participating institutions, access to emergency room visits, physician approved appointments at medical clinics for more minor ailments, and the option to request a secure virtual doctor visit through the international provider where appropriate and when possible, with providers that support direct billing from provider to insurer.

The 24/7 call center is provided through Intrepid 24/7 and iA Assist.

The function of the call center for international students is to support and manage inquires and link students to the appropriate care options. All communication is direct with students.

myCanadaPlan offers multilingual translation in over 80+ languages and is available upon request when speaking with a call center representative. The plan website, provided for each participating institution, offers additional resources and support to students.
