Students enrolled in the Student Health and Dental Plan, who have the Sobeys drug card can automatically get a preferred dispensing fee/price reduction when filling their prescription at any Sobeys Pharmacy location in Canada.
To get your Sobeys Drug Card, please follow these steps:
- Go to https://services.lawtons.ca/ppn and provide the username PeopleCorp and the password PCPPN19!
- Complete the online form, you need to add the policy number 50541 and your student ID without letters when you complete the form.
- After you register, your card will be mailed to you.
- To get your discount while shopping at Lawtons locations, you'll need to present your Lawtons Discount Card and Photo ID at the time of purchase.
Dispensing Savings
Within Ontario, the dispensing fee is $8.83 and drug markup is capped at 8% (6% on drug costs over $1,000).
In British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island, the discount is $2.00 per prescription applied against the dispensing fee.
In Alberta, Nova Scotia, and Saskatchewan, the discount is applied per prescription as $1.00 against member out-of-pocket co-pay and $1.00 credited annually to the plan.
For Sobeys Pharmacy by Mail (mail order service), the dispensing fee is $4.99, and markup is capped at 8%.
