The faster and easier way to use your benefits without completing claims forms and waiting for cheques in the mail or direct deposit in your bank account.
By presenting your Benefits Card and your valid Student ID card, the service providers will send your claim electronically, the insurance carrier will pay the covered amount, and you only pay the portion not covered.
Direct billing is based on the service provider's billing practices and whether they are set up for direct billing.
Tips to ensure your Benefits Card work well for you:
- New eligible students! You must wait until the 45-day validation period is over before registering on the app and getting your Benefit Cards.
- Enrollment is not guaranteed by having the Benefits Card, Please confirm enrollment before registering on the App and using your Benefit Cards.
- Save your benefits card on your mobile for easy access.
- Confirm with the service providers if they offer direct billing.
- Present the benefits card when accessing benefits.
- Identify the Group Number (policy number) and the Client ID Number (Student ID number) listed on the card.
- If you purchased family coverage, your dependents would use the student's card.

Current active students on the Student Benefits Plan can register, set up their profile and download their Benefit Cards on the new mystudentplan Benefits App!
New students will be available to register after 45 days from the official start date of their programs.
Complete the card generator form by proving your full name as it appears on the college files and your student ID number without letters. Download or print your benefits card to get direct billing.
Returning students must not generate the card every term they are eligible for the Student Benefits Plan, as the card remains active for future terms.
